This is a typical download screen you will see after clicking on a downloadable file.
Or after clicking on OK to Save to Disk

Click on the arrow to choose the directory

Make sure you are clear on the above.  It is most important to know where the files are going on your hard drive you can extract and install them when the download is finished.

TIP:

Create a Download Directory - Folder on the Desktop and always download to this folder.
